Founded
in October 2003 by Donna Adams and Suellen Newman, Medusa Sports was formed
to fill a void in women’s sports apparel and accessories.
It’s no surprise that many sports shops accomodate men – just look
at the amount of space typically allotted for women. Being active women themselves,
Donna and Suellen feel passionately that active women are starved for a better
selection of merchandise.
Medusa Sports offers sports gear, shoes, accessories and feminine sports apparel
in fashionable styles, colors and performance fabrics. Merchandise includes
unique, hard-to-find items not found in department stores, sports shops and
outlets. Medusa Sports also carries gift and novelty products with a sports
theme. The Company’s initial product launch caters to the lady golfer,
and will soon offer other sports categories such as tennis, running, bowling,
yoga, pilates, water sports and more!
